When Lunatia comes home after shopping one day, she finds a note attached to her front door. It read:
Dear Lunatia,
I'm out of lumber, so I have to go to the Forest to get more.
I heard that the deeper you go into the Forest, the better quality the wood is, so today I want to go as deep as I can.
I came by to buy some food from you so that I can bring it with me, and to ask you to come too, but you weren't home.
So, I decided to go alone, even though I don't want too. I heard the deepest part of the forest is also the darkest and scariest.
Who knows what other creatures live in there other than the unicorns.
I hope the Spring Goddess protects me. And I really really hope I don't get lost or anything.
I suppose I can jst eat the wild fruits and grass that's lying around the forest.
I will remember to stay away from cookies though.
I will come by your house later for a proper dinner after I'm done, okay?
But if I don't come, you know where to find me.
Ciao!
Lexi
Lunatia checks her clock and saw that it was well past dinnertime. She knows its very unusual for Lexiria to miss a meal. In fact, it's late, very late. Much too late to be wandering around alone in the deep recesses of the forest.
And Lexiria is still not here yet...............................
