A topic about music

Even though I've been on this board for a little while I feel as if I don't know any of the members very well. So what better way to get to know people better than to discuss the kinds of music we like to listen to? =D

I'll get us started:

I find myself particularly drawn to music. Regardless of genre I usually find at least one or two songs that catch my interest somewhat. My favorite kind of music, however, would have to be classic rock. In my opinion some of the best music of all time came right out of the 60's and 70's.

What do you guys like to listen to?

Me? Fall Out Boy.

Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Oasis are my favorites.

I like how you named two of my top bands.

i listen hip hop, reggae, r&b, dancehall.
And i love the japanese music too (like Haruka Kanata and Sheishun Kyoukyo........something)

Do you happen to like visual kei? It's a type of Japanese metal, most closely associated with symphonic metal.

For those that don't know, symphonic metal is like operatic metal where you have classical elements with the heavy metal licks. A good example would be Nightwish or, for people into the Japanese stuff, Malice Mizer.

i hate heavy metal. Too much noise(?)

for me anything as long it suits my mood swings

i listen more to japanese songs and korean(some) usually when i'm in my room
i do listen to western but since i dunno the title of the song i cant download them and
so i just get to listen them from the radio

@ Lunatia: What kind of Western do you like?

@ Maggie: If you like Evanescence then you'd probably like Nightwish. There's a a few noticeable parallels between the two.

This song is probably the least rock out of any of the ones they've done, but its also one of their most brilliant. And Gold.
I'm not a fan of silver either.

Maggie, you sooooo learned about Addison Road from me. And yes, I do find them poetic, seeing as they have their own style and aren't fakes and industries
(cough cough Jonas Brothers cough cough).

Sorry, I get really angry when I talk about the Jonas Brothers. It's just...ugh....they aren't real artists.

I'm a personal fan of white gold. It kind of looks like silver, but its gold.
