the Story of my Name

So........
my Mom wanted to call me Jean-André Junior (name of my dad) but he didn't want that cause i find the name André (s'cuse me) sucks xD.
So, he was purpose the name Doug (don't know why). But my Mom, on the nurse's advice, didn't wanted cause she said the people at the school would bother me (Doug => Dog). So she add a y. The name probably come in her mind cause there was a the tv a show with a Doctor of the name of Dougi or Douggie who was really intelligent (he became a doctor at 15-16 years old).
But the people always bother me about my name (with the thing of the dog). And i wanted my dad call me Abner cause he's dad (my grandfather) was called like that and i like this name.
Well, we have to live with what we have........
