| Generally for teenagers the guy needs to be older AND taller than the girl. But when... and IF the guy goes to collage, those rules go out the window. After high school it is all about compatibility between the two. | |

| High school is years 9-12, the four final years of the main school system. Also known as, [in order] Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, & Senior.
I am a Junior, but take College Level courses at Red Rocks [a community, or junior college]

| I used to think that the ideal is difference is 2 years, but I think a 7-year-difference in relationship is also kinda cute. When this happens, us manga lovers would describe the guy as having a Lolita-complex. The guy being the older one, of course.
But some cultures actually dictates the ideal age difference, for example, Koreans think it should be at least four years because they consider girls to mature waaaaay faster than boys ( a four year headstart). Mine says 1 year.
I also think it's kinda prejudiced how girls always prefer guys who are taller or older than them. I feel for the guys who are rejected based on this reason.
But really what they aim for is compability and a match in their maturity levels. So long as you have things in common and you can make endless conversations, whatever your age difference is it is not wrong. Love is blind.

| Well, I don't really care about the age difference and since I read an article about a woman that married a guy who is 21 years younger and they live peacefully and very very happy I suppose it's all about love in the end it doesn't matters if he's older or younger or tall or short Anyway I think she's paedophile XD | |

| I have to agree with Kathryn, Pepi's story seems highly unlikely. | |

| A ten year difference really isn't all that bad. Then again, there's about a nine year difference between my parents so maybe I just consider that to be normal. Anything greater than fifteen years just strikes me as odd.
There is something wrong with a teacher who thinks its ok to sleep with her student IMO, especially one who has barely gone through puberty. Too me that's not love, it's an adult taking advantage of a child.

| Yeah, I think so too... that woman was crazy since her husband had an affair so they had lots of problems, but that's no reason to talk about your problems with a kid and then sleep with him!! anyway, I thought it was a really interesting (but weird) story since they are "happily" married | |

Maybe we are talking about the same story Dougy since not every day a 13 years old kid falls in love with his teacher XD don't thing so, it's happen here in Québec, and that was a few month, or 1 year. I don't think this child could live with his teacher at 14-15 years old
