| Valhalla is a rather large vineyard set on a slightly sloping hilltop. When entering the vineyard from the road, a person must first go through a small, slightly crooked, gate and go down a dirt path that splits the field in half. A couple dozen rows of grapevines lay parallel to one another and run from east to west. In the field itself there isn't much grass as much of the soil has been either been worn down from countless hours of wear or is in use. The field itself is surrounded by a wooden fence that has never been painted and bridges on the verge of dilapidation. At the end of the dirt path is a small, two story, brick house with a veranda jutting out from the porch itself. On the terrace there is a table and a few chairs for use of customers if they want to enjoy their bottle of wine right after purchase. The eastern side of the building there is a locked entrance to the cellar where the wine is aged before it is sold, as opposed to the western side where there is only a rickety shack where tools are stored. There is a sign on the door that dictates business hours. They are as follows: Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am - 2pmThe first floor is for business only. Inside is a modest room with only a few crates and shelves cluttering up the space. There is a counter on the left hand wall next to which is a door leading to the cellar. The only other thing visible is another door leading to the upstairs and a sign next to the register. The sign reads: Wine, 1.0 Liter Bottle - 500g Wine, 0.5 Liter Bottle - 300g Wine, by the Cup - 150g Grape Juice, only in 0.5 Liter Bottles - 200g Wild Grapes (Seasonal) - 50g Purple Grass (Seasonal) - 120g(If the image is too big just let me know and I'll resize it.) | |
