Elliot smiled and informed her, "A checkup will cost 10g. I'm sure you will find my prices very reasonable. Now if you would pay up now, I will direct you to the room."

Jack took the 10g and and placed it in the cash drawer. "Yes, very reasonable prices, aren't they? Well, right this ay, ma'am." Jack directed her to an unoccupied room behind the waiting room. "Alright, sit down please and I'll take your blood pressure." he ordered her, reaching into a cabinet and pulling out the appropriate apparatus. Wrapping it around her arm he asked, "What is it you do? Knowing this will help me figure out what problems to look for in this check up. For instance, in a farmer I might look out for fatigue and muscle-related problems," he explained, pulling off the cuff, "All right, blood pressure is normal. That's good...,"

Well I just work at the Supermarket. I have to do a lot of running around trying to find the people's stuff they want to buy.
So my blood pressure is good? Yes! So whats next?

Jack nodded and said, "Next I'll check your throat for any swellings or spots and then I'll check your ears. Not that your job is by any means easy, but a job like that doesn't have any particular health side-effects other than the universal work related fatigue and stress, but on that note, have you felt tired or more inactive lately? Has it been harder to find as much passion for your work as you usually have?" Jack asked, taking a small flashight and unwrapping a clean popsicle stick.

Well actully yes to both of those questions....I wonder why?

Jack turned on the flashlight and put the clean popsicle stick to Stephy's mouth, "Say 'Ah', please...," Jack put the popsicle stick on her tongue and pressed down, making it easier to see the back of her throat and began to look around, "Well...," Jack began, shining the flashlight back and forth in her mouth, "Like I said, the only explanation for that is stress or fatigue. Are having a bad time at work or at home? Any personal troubles? That could most likely be the source. If you are being stressed out too much at work there is a very simple treatment for that that is usually very effective." He informed her, taking out the popsicle stick from her mouth and turning off the flashlight, "Your throat's a bit swollen. It's nothing too bad, yet, though it might develop into larynghitis if it is untreated. I'll give you some medicine later, but make sure you eat a lot of cough drops as well."

I guess I am being stressed at work. And also having personal problems. And my throat is swollen? This is just the worse...

Jack shook his head, "Don't worry about your throat. If you take the medicine I give you, you will be cured before you even get sick. And as for being stressed out at work and at home? Like I said, there is a simple treatment for this: take a vacation. You are a hard worker, and every hard worker earns time to spend by themselves. You know, I haven't had the chance to yet, but I've been looking to take a camping trip into the forest. Maybe you should consider that? There's nothing like a nice long weekend out in the forest, just you and mother nature. It cleans the soul, it really does. And if you're having problems with a loved one then a camping trip would be the perfect way to help you solve them. If it's a boyfriend you're having problems with, a weekend in the woods is very romantic." Jack suggested to her, hoping a nice vacation away from life's duties could help her out, "And you know, I heard the forest outside of town has it's own hot springs! Nothing better than a nice, refreshing dip. Does wonders for one's metabolism."
